Good office catering solves three problems at once: it is easy to order, easy to put out, and good enough that people stop checking email while they eat. At Padrino’s Cuban Restaurant in Boca Raton, we cater office lunches, team meetings, training days, and client presentations with pickup or delivery. We are at 20455 FL-7 in Mission Bay Plaza, at the corner of Glades Road and 441. Call our catering specialist at 954.830.3034 or see our Boca Raton catering menu.
Our food comes out of a family business that started as a small food market and winery in Cuba in 1935 and opened its first restaurant in Hialeah in 1976. Three generations later we are still cooking the same recipes. For your office, that shows up as trays of real Cuban food instead of another sandwich box.
Start With the Format, Not the Menu
The shape of the meeting decides the shape of the meal. Get that right and the menu part is easy.
Individual meal packages for working sessions
When people are eating at a conference table with an agenda in front of them, individual packages beat a shared spread. Nobody gets up, nobody queues, and the meeting keeps moving. Our catering meal packages come with the entree, house salad, your choice of rice, plantain chips, garlic mojo, sweet plantains, and a drink. One package per person, done.
This is the right call for training sessions, all-hands mornings, client presentations, and any lunch where someone is presenting while people eat.
Trays for department lunches and team gatherings
When the point of the lunch is that people talk to each other, shared trays work better. Everyone builds their own plate, portions sort themselves out, and one order covers a wider range of appetites and preferences.
Our catering trays serve 10. That makes the math straightforward: a 30-person department lunch is roughly three entree trays plus three or four sides, adjusted for how much variety you want. Two entrees across three trays gives people a choice without doubling the order.
What to Order for a Boca Raton Office Lunch
A good office spread offers variety without turning into a logistics project. Here is what actually travels well and disappears fastest.
Entrees
Ropa vieja is shredded beef cooked with green peppers and onions in a light tomato sauce, and it is the safest crowd-pleaser on the menu. Lechon asado is oven-roasted pork marinated in citrus mojo and served with grilled onions, and it is the one people ask about afterward. Vaca frita is marinated shredded beef grilled with onions, with more char and more edge to it. Picadillo is seasoned ground beef with garlic and onions in a light tomato sauce, and it is the reliable pick for a mixed group.
For a group of 20 or more, pick two entrees rather than one. It costs the same and it removes the risk of half the room being lukewarm on your choice.
Sides
Yellow rice, white rice, black beans, moros, sweet plantains, yuca, and steamed broccoli. Two starches and one vegetable is a solid default. Sweet plantains and black beans are the two that always go first.
Appetizers
Ham croquetas, mini chicken empanadas, mini papas rellenas, mariquitas with garlic mojo, and yuca cheese bites. The appetizer combination brings yuca cheese bites, papas rellenas, and croquetas together in one tray and serves 8. Appetizers earn their place when people arrive at staggered times or when there is a networking window before the meeting starts.
If anyone in your group has dietary restrictions, tell us when you order. Several of our sides and appetizers work for vegetarian guests, and our catering specialist can build the order around what your team needs.
How Our Catering Actually Works
We prepare the food and get it to you, either for pickup at the restaurant or delivered to your office. Setup happens on your end: trays, tables, plates, utensils, and serving space are yours to arrange. There is no on-site staff and no service crew.
For most offices that is the point. It is faster, it costs less than full-service catering, and a conference room table plus ten minutes is genuinely all it takes.
When you place the order, we will need your date, the time you want it ready or delivered, guest count, and your delivery address if applicable. Confirm the delivery address up front, since availability varies by location for offices further out in Palm Beach County and northern Broward.
When to Place Your Order
Our catering kitchen runs Tuesday through Sunday, 11am to 8pm. All Padrino’s locations are closed Mondays, so a Monday morning meeting means ordering the Sunday before.
Once your order is placed, changes need to reach us no later than six business hours before your event time, and cancellations inside 24 hours are subject to a 25% fee. If your headcount is still moving, call us rather than waiting for a final number. It is easier to adjust an order that exists than to place one at the last minute.
Delivery to Boca Raton Offices
Our Mission Bay Plaza location sits right on the Glades Road and 441 corridor, which puts us close to the office parks, medical offices, and business centers along Glades and west Boca. Delivery is available to Boca Raton offices and out into the surrounding Palm Beach County and northern Broward areas depending on the address.
If your meeting is somewhere other than your usual office, give us the exact delivery address when you order so we can confirm it before you build your agenda around it.
